Faux Pink - Women's Health Awareness through Art

We are starting an organization in Missoula Montana that will be based upon creating custom painted canvases using actual breast imprints. The mission is to save lives, heal emotions and educate women on early cancer prevention. Women go to either a workshop or private consultation and make a custom piece. The canvas' can be donated or kept as a momento of their beauty and spirit. We are seasoned faux artists that wanted to give back and help a cause that is very near and dear to our hearts. Shelly is a high risk breast cancer patient whose maternal and paternal grandmothers died from breast cancer. Jill is a cervical cancer survivor. Keep watching as we work to create and mold our organization and seek non-profit status. We are excited about the opportunities ahead of us.

  3. I am so excited about our new adventure! There are no words to describe the feeling of gratification we get from combining the joy we get from making these inspiring pieces of art and educating women on these very important subjects. These are the most amazing, one of a kind, totally unique and most personal art canvas' you will ever see! To say I am proud to be a part of this is putting it lightly. I do have one correction to make and that is my maternal and paternal grandmothers did not die of, but were survivors of breast cancer who have since passed. Follow us as our new adventure continues!

  4. Very excited to have found your blog. My daughter goes to tap class with little Amaya, whose grandmother is present in the "roses on your pillow" art piece. It has been fun hearing her stories about the wonderful thing you are doing. I so wish I was able to travel so that I could participate! Let me know if you ever come to Oregon, I'd love to be able to help make a piece!
