4th of July Preparations

Today we had breast cancer survivors from CMC participate on our 4th of July project. This is a unique opportunity to bridge our missions and promote our causes. Next Wednesday at 2pm the piece will be unveiled at CMC. It's a personal favorite. I'm so excited to share this wonderful group effort. I wanted to post a picture, but then decided you'll have to come next Wednesday to see for yourself....

Art Exhibit at St Pats

Monday afternoon we set up our first art exhibit at the Woman's Health Center at St. Patrick's Hospital. It will be on display for a month. We would love for anyone to stop by and view it and check out their great facility. Thanks Char!

Breast Coalition Meeting

Monday we attended the Breast Cancer Coalition Meeting at the Dept of Health. We got to unveil the canvas "Wild Flowers" done by the gals at the Mt Cervical and Breast. We also shared our mission with those that attended. We look forward to working more with this committee.

Ladies from the Health Dept

Earlier in the week we met with the ladies in the office of the Montana Cervical and Breast Foundation. We will be displaying this piece at the Breast coalition meeting with them next Monday.

Soroptimist Meeting

Yesterday we got to speak to the Hamilton Soroptimist club. It was great to meet you ladies and possibly work on a fundraiser sometime down the road. Thank you for having us.

Just tonight we started a new piece featuring the ladies from the Montana Cervical and Breast Foundation. They chose native wild flowers with a mountain background. It's off to a great start. Stay tuned to see the final product. Thank you Sarah, Colleen and Alta!

Health Fair

The Health Fair at Mineral County Hospital was fantastic. We had a great time, met some wonderful people and got our message out. We look forward to seeing some of those ladies again. Thanks to our model Kirsten who started a piece that day! Her 'golf theme' canvas will be auctioned off for the Cancer Society's Relay for Life event.

Portfolio Building

Two more pieces to be added to the portfolio, "Calf" and "Sangria". We need 12 pieces for the upcoming exhibit at St. Pat's Women's Center. These are two canvas' that have been started with backgrounds and the breast imprints. Check in later today to see the finished products. I'll be in my studio today working on these. These are for Michelle and Karen. You'll see the transformation!!
